Laos Rosewood 5 Inch Two Prong Curved Hair Fork Deep Red with Blackish Grain 1 1/8 " wide FPL 4" Comb Pin Stick Bun Holder

This particular Hair Fork was the request of several customers who had "Special" up-do's that needed a Five Inch Length with an FPL of Four Inches. So I made a bunch for them and extras for the rest of you..... I hope it fits the bill !! The last picture shows some of the color variations the wood comes in.

This 5 Inch Laos Rosewood 2-Prong Hair Fork is curved to fit the contour of your head and is a compliment to my other Laos "Rustic Heavy Duty Laos Hair Fork" and differs in that although it is 5 Inches long and lighter it has a longer FPL of a FULL 4 Inches. This Curved Laos Rosewood Hair Fork is made for those who want a smaller hair fork that is strong yet holds well, is not heavy so it can be used with thinner hair. It is only 1 1/8 " wide; 5" long and less than 3/16" thick. The pictures do not do justice to this Hair Fork.

This Hair Fork is for those with Light, thin hair as the fork is light and strong and holds well.

The Functional Prong Length (FPL) is a FULL Four " for this 2-Prong Hair Fork and varies within 1/8" from piece to piece.

This Laos Rosewood (Dalbergia Sp.) is very heavy and hard. The color is a deep red with blackish grain streaks running through the wood. The color range can run from a pinkish hue up to a dark red almost a purple.

This smaller and lighter Laos Rosewood 2 prong Hair Fork should now be added to my "Rustic Heavy Duty" line I have introduced before and will continue to expand in the near future . The line now includes Six Different Laos Rosewood Hair Forks as follows :

1) 4 7/8" Curved Three Prong Hair Fork 2" wide and 1 /4" thick with FPL of 3 1/2"
2) 4 3/4" Curved Two Prong Hair Fork 1 1/4" wide and 1/4" thick with FPL of 3 1/2"
3) 5 7/8" Straight Three Prong Hair Fork 2" wide and 1/4" thick with FPL of 4 1/2"
4) 5 3/4" Straight Two Prong hair Fork 1 1/4" wide and 1/4" thick with FPL of 4 1/2"
5) 4 1/2" Curved Two Prong hair Fork 1" wide and 3/16" thick with FPL of 3 3/4"
6) 5 " Curved Two Prong Hair Fork 1 1/8" Wide and 3/16" thick with FPL of 4 "

These Hair forks are being made out of Laos Rosewood and/or Striped Ebony so there are twelve different listings here on Etsy .


The Hair Forks are finished with a lacquer coating and rubbed out to a semi-gloss finish and waxed with Johnson Paste wax.


The last picture shows several different colors and grain patterns and is just to show the variety that this Hair Fork may come in. The listing is for only one Hair Fork.

As a matter of caution some of the Forks will be sharper then some people like and I therefore recommend that you blunt the tip with an emery board to the degree of sharpness you want.

If you find any of my Hair Forks not to your liking I will take them back.
