SE Asia Striped Ebony 6 1/2 Inch Spiral Hair Stick Pin Pic Black w/ Brown Grain Stiping 1/4" Thick 5/8" Widest Point

This 6 1/2 Inch SE Asian Striped Ebony Spiral Hair Stick is a "Rustic Heavy Duty " hair stick I have added to my line for the customer with Thick Hair that needs a super strong Hair Fork with great holding power. . It is 5/8 " wide; 6 1/2" long and 1/4" thick. The pictures do not do justice to this Hair Stick as the variety of colors is great.

This Hair Stick is Stronger and the wood is much harder then my regular Indian Ebony Hair Stick.

This Southeast Asian Ebony (Diospyros Sp) is very heavy and is thought to be a sub-species of Macassar Ebony as the wood is found from Indonesia to India and known by different names throughout the area. There are something like 450 Ebony species know in the world but only a few grow to any size to make commercial lumber out of. For more info see macassarebony.com .

This "Rustic Heavy Duty" line I have just come up with also includes four different styles of Hair Forks as follows:

1) 4 7/8" Curved Three Prong Hair Fork 2" wide and 1 /4" thick
2) 4 3/4" Curved Two Prong Hair Fork 1 1/4" wide and 1/4" thick
3) 5 7/8" Straight Three Prong Hair Fork 2" wide and 1/4" thick
4) 5 3/4" Straight Two Prong hair Fork 1 1/4" wide and 1/4" thick

These Hair forks are being made out of Laos Rosewood and/or SE Asian Striped Ebony so there are eight different listings here on Etsy for the Hair Forks and four listings for the Hair Sticks.

The Hair Sticks are finished with a lacquer coating and rubbed out to a semi-gloss finish and waxed with Johnson Paste wax.

These are intended for the customer that has thick hair, and plenty of it !! If this is you try one of these and if it doesn't work for you return it for a full refund.

The last picture shows several different colors and grain patterns and is just to show the variety that this Hair Stick may come in. The listing is for only one Hair Fork.
