Ebony 4.5 Inch Three Prong Wooden Curved Hair Fork Pick Pin Pic Comb Stick FPL 3.5" Black with Dark Brown Grain 1 3/8 inch

The 4.5 Inch Ebony Hair Fork is curved to fit the contour of your head and can be used from several angles. Many customers are impressed with the holding power of this curved design and the amount of hair that this little fork can manage. It is 1 3/8 inch wide and buffed to a semi gloss finish. The pictures do not do justice to this Hair Fork.

The Functional Prong Length (FPL) is 3.5" for this 3-Prong Hair Fork and varies within 1/4" from piece to piece.


This Indian Ebony (Diospyros Ebanaster) comes from managed forests that are selectively cared for and monitored. Like all Ebonies it varies from dark reddish brown colors to a deep Black and a lot have dark brown grain patterns. Sometimes a Greyish White Sapwood is present along the edge.


I consider this Hair Fork to be one of my strongest and I would classify it as having good holding power rather than many of my other forks that I would classify as more decorative with medium to lighter holding power. The use of Hair Forks as "levers" is not a good idea as most Hair Forks are decorative and they will break under excess stress.

Since these come in various colors please let me know if you want all black or a mixture of brown and black.

As a matter of caution some of the Forks will be sharper then some people like and I therefore recommend that you blunt the tip with an emery board to the degree of sharpness you want.
