2 Yellow Teak 4.5 Inch Handmade Wooden Curved 2-Prong Hair Forks Picks Pins Pics Combs Sticks FPL 3.5" Blonde fits contour of the Head

This " Yellow Teak" (Haldina Cordifolia) comes from managed forests that are selectively cared for and monitored. This is a fairly straight grained wood that is yellow and darkens to a brownish yellow with age. It has a lustrous surface when finished and goes by several local names like Haldu in India.


The Hair Sticks are 4.5 inches long and Curves to fit the contour of the head. They are about 1 inch at its widest point and have a maximum thickness of about 1/4". The Curve in the 2-Prong fork allows the use of this fork from the side as well as from the top of the head. I've been told that it is very easy to use and does a good job of holding hair for only being 4.5 inches long.

The Functional Prong Length (FPL) is 4.5" for these 2-Prong Hair Forks and varies within 1/4" from piece to piece.


I classify this Hair Stick as more functional than "Decorative" in that the intent of this Two Prong Fork is to help hold your hair together with a straight forward product with not a lot of "Bling". This is one of the workhorses in my stable.

As a matter of caution some of the sticks will be sharper then some people like and I therefore recommend that you blunt the tip with an emery board to the degree of sharpness you want.

If you find any of my sticks not to your liking I will take them back.
