1 Cast Aluminum Fritz Cane Walking Stick Handle with Sleeve Connector for Your Shaft

The Handle Measures 4 1/2" in length and is about 2 1/2" from top of handle to bottom of the connector nub without the connector attached. The handle is about 1" in diameter. At the end (bottom) of the handle is a 3/8" long threaded nub that threads into the threaded connector. Each handle weighs 9 ounces.

The connector itself is 1 1/8" long with an outside measurement of .82 " and an internal measurement of .67".

The handle has some pros and cons versus the other Aluminum Fritz Handle with the threaded rod connector system. A lot of cane makers like this "Old Style" system as it is easier and quicker to fit the handle to the shaft by "carving " the top of the cane shaft to fit and secure the connector onto it. Once you have secured this connector all you have to do is screw the Handle into the top half of the connector and you are done. A strong epoxy should be used to secure half of the connector to the shaft top.

The major con is that this connection is no where as strong as the threaded rod connection of the other Aluminum Fritz handle that I sell.

The last pro is that this handle is cheaper than the threaded rod handle as Aluminum content and machining are less expensive. This style is also the style that has been made for many many years and many parts between makers will be interchangeable

Note: All of my Aluminum Cane Handles are buffed by the manufacturer with a polishing compound that may turn your hands black. This compound will wear off over time or you can remove it with a little lacquer thinner or finger nail polish remover !!
