2 Rosewood 6 Inch Wooden Spiral Hair Sticks Serpent Twisting Conical Hair Pic Pin Fork Pick Bun Holder Shawl Pin Holder

This Indian Rosewood (Dalbergia Sissoo) comes from managed forests that are selectively cared for and monitored. Rosewood is a large family and colors vary from the Pinkish White ( Tulipwood-Dalbergia Decipularis ) to a deep Black ( African Blackwood-Dalbergia Melanoxylon ) . The Indian Rosewood is mostly brown with some black streaks.



The Hair Stick is 6 inches long and undulates from 1/2" at the top down to a point. The Stick is about 1/4" in thickness , a deep brown color and and able to hold lots of hair securely. This stick is as strong as any wooden Hair Stick you will find on the market.

I consider this stick to be one of my strongest and I would classify it as having good holding power rather than many of my other sticks that I would classify as more decorative with medium to lighter holding power. The use of Hair Sticks as "levers" is not a good idea as most Hair Sticks are decorative and they will break under excess stress.

As a matter of caution some of the sticks will be sharper then some people like and I therefore recommend that you blunt the tip with an emery board to the degree of sharpness you want.
